About Anthony Morena
I am the Founder and Principal of Mortar Group.
I am a graduate of Pratt Institute and NYU – and a licensed Architect in New York. Since beginning my career, and over the course of the last twenty five years, I have been involved in the development of over 1,350 residential units in New York City and the outer boroughs – valued at over a billion dollars.
Mortar Group was created in my search to understand the Architect as Developer dynamic. While the business model has evolved and matured over the years, we slowly became more than an Architect as Developer.
Mortar grew in to a vertically integrated organization, growing past just these two ideals, but also becoming investment managers, property managers, a trusted source for individuals looking to invest capital
Our focus and specialty has become the incorporation of all these disciplines into sub-institutional + mid-market multifamily in New York.
